David Catching is a producer ,multi instrumentalist and owner/operator of Rancho de la Luna recording studio in Joshua tree,California since co founding it with Fred Drake in 1993.
Rancho de la Luna has hosted a long list of well respected clients including Daniel Lanois, Iggy Pop, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, The Desert Sessions, Mark Lanegan and countless others.
In addition to co founding and touring with Queens of the Stone Age from 1996-2000 , Catching has toured extensively with Eagles of Death Metal, Mark Lanegan and Catching’s own band earthlings? .
Catching is also co owner of Rancho de la Luna Mezcal with Bingo Richey and partner Butch Vig.
