Stan Soocher, Esq., Entertainment Law & Finance

Stan Soocher is the long-time Editor-in-Chief of Entertainment Law & Finance. He is also Professor of Music & Entertainment Industry Studies at the University of Colorado’s Denver Campus. In addition, Stan is an entertainment attorney and a multi-recipient of ASCAP Deems Taylor Awards for Excellence in Music Journalism, including for his articles in Rolling Stone and The National Law Journal. He is author of the books Baby You’re a Rich Man: Suing the Beatles for Fun & Profit and They Fought the Law: Rock Music Goes to Court. He is also a recipient of the State Bar of Texas Entertainment and Sports Law Section’s “Texas Star Award.”
