Tracy La Porte, known professionally as Tracy 2Step, is a powerful voice in music, media, and mission. With deep roots in Texas and Nashville, and a personal journey that began in the foster care system, she has built a legacy on resilience, truth, and the unshakable belief that music has the power to change lives.

She is a self-made singer-songwriter with hundreds of original songs spanning country, rock, blues, and hip hop. Tracy has collaborated with artists including Billy Ray Cyrus, UncleRyano, 100 Meter Scream, and Grammy-nominated producers, bringing emotional weight and lived experience into every lyric. Her writing and voice have become a healing force for communities often left unheard.

As a Gold Star Mom, Tracy’s mission deepened after the loss of her son, Adam, a U.S. Army Infantryman whose legacy lives on through her work. In his honor, she founded the Sgt. 2Step Foundation, which supports underserved artists, veterans, foster youth, and Gold Star families across the country.

She is also the creator and co-host of the 2Step Tribe Show, a nationally syndicated program that blends music and mission while highlighting independent creators from all genres. Through her leadership, 2Step Tribe has become more than a show—it is a nationwide movement that restores the power of music to connect, inspire, and uplift.

In partnership with artist and producer Ryan Reynolds aka UncleRyano, Tracy co-leads the 2Step Tribe movement and the newly launched Americas Music Awards (AMAs)—a genre-spanning initiative honoring creators who embody integrity, service, and purpose. Tracy is also the founder of Patriots Inside The Wire, a broadcast platform that amplifies the voices of veterans, truth-tellers, and first responders.

With a lifelong passion for restoring music’s role in community, Tracy is leading the charge for a new era—one where songs tell stories, radio empowers people, and art goes beyond entertainment to serve a greater good.
